After the success of their debut single 'Chasing the World', The Cavs are back with their second single 'Movin'. The Manchester lads are fresh from recent dates where they have played along side fellow Mancunians, Dirty Laces.

You can hear The Cavs showcase their new tune for the first time since its release this Saturday at The Bullring in Eccles, if you were lucky enough to get tickets. It is the bands first headline gig and they have managed to sell out the 70 capacity in what will be a very intimate gig.

We spoke to frontman Elliot Craven on the release of their second single 'Movin', thoughts on their first headline gig and what is around the corner for them in 2020.

A certain head bobber for your gig in Eccles on Saturday, how happy are you now you have your second single out?

Now the second single is out, we are buzzing to show people what we've been working so hard on these past few months and hope to show them we're diverse in the sort of sounds we can create. We have so many more tracks we're working on at the minute and will be released in an EP in the Spring and we hope Movin can give us some momentum to start creating a fanbase.

Closing the year with a second single and your first headline gig, just how excited are you and the lads for 2020?

We are proper looking forward to 2020 and hope to maybe get on a couple of festivals in the summer such as Blackthorn.

You have recently played with Dirty Laces, most noticeably at Chadderton Park FC which was incredible. What is it like supporting them?

Supporting Dirty Laces was amazing. They are an unreal band going to strength to strength at the minute. Great bunch of lads and hopefully we'll be looking at plans to do more with them in the future. Slightly surreal having manc legend Clint Boon watching us too. He loved it!

If you could pick a realistic venue you would love to headline in 2020, what would it be and why?

Going into 2020 we are looking to headline venues such as The Castle and Off the Record. We sold out our eccles gig (70 capacity) in less than 2 days so a dream gig next year would be to play the iconic Night and Day where so many unbelievable bands have played in the past.

Movin' has been added straight into SoundMate's December playlist which will be available VERY soon. A massive thank you to The Cavs and Elliot for taking the time to talk to us, we wish you all the best for 2020 and your first headline gig this weekend. If you would like to keep up with the band then you can follow their Twitter by clicking here or their Facebook by clicking here. Keep you ears ready for The Cavs in 2020 guys!
