On Tuesday 18th June, Manchester’s rising indie rock and roll band, The Haciendas, unveiled their highly anticipated EP, ‘Diary Of A Broken Mind’. The latest release showcases the band’s growth and maturity as songwriters, which has been at the forefront of their capturing ‘their’ sound. The EP features singles ‘Overdose’ and ‘Brighter Day’, which were both debuted live last year and were fan-favourites. The latest record takes listeners on an emotional journey, with lyrics that reflect the rollercoaster struggles of mental health.
The new release will be took on the road this summer as they head back to their hometown of Failsworth for North Fest 2024, before they head over to Newcastle where they will be performing at King Street Social, alongside Trampolene for HowayFest.
The band has been gaining traction on the Manchester music scene, and this EP is a testament to their dedication. There is big plans rumoured for the band in 2025, with their debut album currently in the works and another UK and overseas tour in the works.
